My setting is set for 6 months and I decided to give mi tanganican cichlids bigger tank, so I ordered sand a bit bigger grade than this, but when it came I realised it won't look so great in my setting and so I ordered another bag of sugar sized. However after a week it become nicest sand ever. My filter cleaned it in crystal clear water in about a week I guess, with help of partial water changes. Later on I was changing one of my old setting for tanganican settings put the sand in as I did not want to spend money on another sand. I was so annoyed I did not use it and dried the sample of sand I tried to wash in oven. This sand is almost impossible to wash as water gets really milky after dozen times pouring new water in is still the same. This sand is annoying and amazing! I bought this about a year ago.
